Low Vit B6 Associated w/ Risk of Deep-Vein Thrombosis
This is a very interesting finding that links DVTs and low plasma B6. What is interesting to note here is that the birth control pill is well known for depleting the body of B6, and that all generations of BCP increase risk of DVT. It may be that this depletion of B6 is the mechanism by which this side effects occurs.
