What Causes Knee Pain?

Your knee joint is surrounded by ligaments, tendons and muscles. Any injury to these soft tissues will cause pain in your knee. You can also feel pain in your knee if you have a dysfunction in your foot or hip.

We find that many patients receive dramatic relief from knee pain when we balance the muscles of the hip, support the foot with orthotics and perform soft-tissue manipulation around the knee. I have arthritis. Is there anything you can do for me?

How do you help people with torn menisci?

We find that proper activity is very important to patients who are recovering from a torn meniscus. We can advise you about exercise and make sure that your knee is functioning properly so that your meniscus can heal.

What can you do about bursitis?

Your bursa becomes inflamed when the muscles and fascia over it are too tight. We can use soft-tissue manipulation techniques to reduce the stress these tissues are placing on the bursa.
