Prospective cohort study of soy food intake and colorectal cancer risk in women

No we move to that most dangerous of substances–soy. At least that’s what you’d think if you read the first 20 pages listed on any internet search for “soy.” Unfortunately, the research finds quite the opposite.

In this particular study there was a 33% reduction in the risk of colon cancer with the highest intakes. Hardly the demonic food some of those websites make it out to be.

Got soy? I really can’t figure out the heavy opposition to soy foods. Now, we’re not talking about the processed junk soy (soy burgers, soy dogs, TVP…), but rather soy milk, tofu, miso, natto.

The research is very strong in favor, and yet the opposition is what most seem to hear. Yet another study supporting outcomes in breast cancer w/ soy intake. Just sharing this info at the Komen events would save thousands of lives. Coupled w/ cruciferous veggies, chemical avoidance, Vit D, exercise & no refined carbs, good digestion (which means NO acid blocking drugs) & breast cancer would almost drop off the map.
