Maternal vitamin D status during pregnancy and childhood bone mass at age 9 years

A whopping 49% of the pregnant women in this study did not have an adequate Vit D status, and this was found to lead to lowered bone mass in the children at 9 yrs of age. I really do believe that we are beginning to see the devastation that our fear-mongering of the sun has created. Increased colon, breast, prostate cancer, worsening insulin resistance, autoimmune conditions like MS and now bone health in kids. What a tangled weave our health really is.
