Elimination diet & prolonged nursing of atopic infant affect bone health?

I firmly believe that any infant with problems (especially dermatological and gastrointestinal) that is breastfeeding should not be taken off of breastfeeding. Altering the maternal diet has shown to have a positive impact on the infant’s health. Mother’s milk is and always will be the healthiest substance up until about 6 months of age. Cessation of breastfeeding should only be recommended after careful consideration and after trial of an elimination diet.
