Researchers concluded that zinc may have the ability to help our immune system fight off cancer and viral infections. While I don’t often recommend individual zinc supplementation, this research strongly supports the concept of using a good quality multivitamin. If we pieced out all the vitamins and minerals that we should be taking and took them all separately, most patients would find themselves non-compliant and not reaping the benefits. However, a good quality multi fills in so many gaps and helps in so many individual ways that there really is no reason why everyone should not be taking a good quality multi.
